Thursday 25th November 2010 Steve Peat Book Signing at Chain Reaction Cycles...Chain Reaction Cycles recently offered an unmissable opportunity and played host to none other than Steve Peat, one of Downhill Racing’s biggest stars. Peaty was at Chain Reaction Cycles HQ for a book signing to promote his new book, “Seventeen Years In the Making” a 160 page book packed full of stunning photos showcasing his 2009 world cup winning season, photos include previously unpublished gems by Victor Lucas. There was an amazing response from the Downhill racing Community when they found out Peaty was coming to town. The emails flooded in and guest lists quickly filled with people travelling from far and wide to get their minute with the Champ. Over 100 Guest list places were reserved within a few days of the event being announced, with a star as big as Peaty in attendance CRC was running at full capacity from the beginning. Peaty was accompanied by Victor Lucas. Victor was the official photographer for his book and travelled around the World Cup Circuit with Peaty on his winning year. Peaty put smiles on all the fans faces by signing his book and merchandise that they had bought, taking advantage of the exclusive one night offers in the showroom and chatting with them for over two hours he showed the fans why he has the reputation of being one of the most approachable downhill riders in the sport. Peaty has always been regarded as very fan friendly and he did not disappoint, happily chatting and signing all night.
